Hangzhou Zheda Dixun Biological Gene Engineering Co., Ltd. was established in 2004. It is an academic high-tech enterprise jointly founded by Zhejiang University and overseas returnees. The company has 8 professors (including 1 national high-level scientific and technological leading talent and 3 Zhejiang provincial high-level scientific and technological leading talents) and 6 foreign experts.

The company is primarily engaged in the research and application of "omics and precision medicine" for allergic diseases. It has 5 provincial-level R&D platforms: Zhejiang Provincial Key Laboratory of Respiratory Disease Diagnosis, Treatment and Research; Zhejiang Provincial Key Scientific and Technological Innovation Team; Zheda Dixun Allergy Diagnosis Provincial High-tech Research and Development Center; Zhejiang Provincial International Science and Technology Cooperation Base for Allergy Diagnosis; and Zhejiang Provincial Foreign Expert Workstation. It is a national specialized, refined, distinctive and innovative key "little giant" enterprise, and serves as the achievement transformation and pilot-scale R&D base of the Allergy Research Center of Zhejiang University.

The company has presided over and participated in more than 50 national, provincial and municipal scientific research projects. It has published more than 60 papers, including 26 SCI-indexed papers (6 papers with IF>10). It has obtained 71 authorized patents, including 36 domestic and international invention patents. To date, it has obtained 26 NMPA registration certificates and 109 CE certificates. In 2014, it participated in the formulation of 12 national reference materials for common allergen antibodies.

In terms of awards, the company won a Third Prize of the Zhejiang Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award in 2009; a Third Prize of the Zhejiang Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award in 2012; a First Prize of the Science and Technology Progress Award of the Ministry of Education in 2012; a Second Prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award in 2013; and a First Prize of the Zhejiang Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award in 2014.
